Confederation of Latvian Forest Owners and Managers is responsible for seated information in this section.
Activities of private forest owners have been grow up in Latvia. The first steps have been done in corporation of economic activities of private forest owners. Many forest owners associations have been established in Latvia because of this reason. Associations are different by function and character but in base they actions are directed to defend interests of private forest owners in local and global level.
To promote coordination of forest owner's and manager's associations and to strengthen representativeness of forest owner's interests of environmental development for economical effective activities in Latvia, has been established Confederation of Latvian Forests Owners and Managers.
Basic activity of Latvian Confederation of Forests Owners and Managers is to promote a dialog between different chiseled nongovernmental organizations of forest owners and managers.
In establishment process the part took such organizations as association of Latvian forests and land owners, Association of Madona's forest owners, Latvian Forest Owners' Association, Association of Rujiena's forest owners. Confederation of Latvian Forest Owners and Managers is open for every nongovernmental organization.
