Confederation of Latvian Forest Owners and Managers contributed broadcast programme "Zalais ipasums" about useable energy resources in Latvian forestry. Broadcast programme can see in LTV1 program on 18 of June at 17.45, rerun at 23.55 at the same day and second rerun on 19 of June at 15.05 as well as can see in web page www.tv.lv in section Zalais ipasums.
In year 2007 CLFOM first time took part in sport games organized by joint stock company "Latvijas valsts mezi" at Madonas district in recreation centre "Klaugulejas".
Confederation of Latvian Forest Owners and Managers (CLFOM) in cooperation with Forest Owners Association and Latvian Forest Owners association „KS MAA" in March 19 2008 at Salaspils library organized forest owners meeting to inform their about actual information concerning to Rural development program 2007. - 2013. CLFOM instructed in the rules of Rural development program about chances to use EU support.
In meeting time were discussed questions connecting to laws and regulation as well as debated about proposals of improvement of regulations efficiency and subsequent cooperation in future.
In March 2008 CLFOM handed in application in Latvian Forest Certification Council about admittance in council to tackle a problems in coherence with social questions and educational work with community as well as another social and scientific activities concerning to the forest certification.
CLFOM gave an opinion about amount of forest felling and movement in birds nesting period in television program "Zalais Ipasums" defending interests of private forest owners in spring when happen sharp work at forest. In future CLFOM plans to make more cooperation with television program to give community actual information about activities in forest industry.
In April 2008 CLFOM plans to join in EU organization which office is in France - Association europeenne pour la protection des sols (European association for soil protection). Basic activities of European association for soil protection are environmental protection's questions, social project development and solutions of economical projects in EU level.
